ClaM - A Classification Manager

Sorting children of a class

When you add classes to a classification it is almost inevitable that the order in which the classes occur in the hierarchy is not the same as the alphabetical order of the codes of those classes. You can use the option Sort children in the Class menu to have ClaM sort the codes for you.

In the dialog you can select in the Level box the depth of the subtree to be sorted. The depth is counted relative to the focus. So if you only want to sort the immediate descendants below the presently selected class, enter a 1 for depth.
