ClaM - A Classification Manager

Manual - Browser - Spawn

If you need another view on the same classification, you can spawn another instance of ClaM by selecting Spawn from the View menu. A new independant instance of ClaM starts focussed on the selected class. This function helps visibly comparing different classes.

If you want the spawned ClaM to follow the navigation in the original ClaM, you should spawn a slave by selecting Spawn as slave on in the View menu. This command acts the same as Spawn, but in addition the slave is synchronised with the master. If the master changes focus to an other class all instances of ClaM that have started as slave on the original will follow. You can either open the same classification or another classification in the spawned ClaM. In the latter case, you can compare two versions of the same classification.
